New interns from France

Bonjour les amis!
We are pleased to welcome two brilliant and innovative interns from France. They are Eloise Lenormand and Emma Liberati from the École Nationale du Génie de l’Eau et de l’Environnement de Strasbourg (ENGEES). Engees is a civil and environment engineer school located in the east of France near Germany. For three months, they will work with us to design and implement innovations for our current projects . Eloise will be working on flood-prone sanitation projects while Emma will focus on the handypod system for floating villages.
Cheers!
from all of us at Wetlands Work!

Successful WW! sanitation program in a floating school in Cambodia

ជំរាបសួរ! Hello friends!

In March 2016, Wetlands Work!, in cooperation with the World Toilet Organization, conducted the first pilot Hygiene Awareness Class in Cambodia.

Eighty students from Yukhuntor Primary School, Kampong Chhnang Province attended the class taught by Mr.Hakly and Ms. Solyka from Wetlands Work.  The hygiene lesson included an introduction to the transmission of pathogens via faecal-oral route, proper hand-washing techniques, and good hand-washing practices via sing-along music videos.
